Each service I provide follows a streamlined process to ensure your space reflects your vision, lifestyle, and budget. Below are the processes for each service I offer, along with the estimated timeline and deliverables.
1. Consult + Discovery
Timeline: 1 hour Consult + 2-3 hours for Project Discovery
A clear understanding of your needs, budget, style preferences, and goals for the space.
Define the project scope of work, budget and timeline
Provide a guided plan explaining the desired layout for the room(s) with functional design solutions.
Process:
The first step is a one-on-one consultation where we discuss your space, your budget, your lifestyle, and your design goals. I’ll listen to your ideas, take notes, and ask specific questions to ensure I fully understand how you want the space to look and function. At the end of this session, we’ll outline a scope of work, discuss a timeline, and kick things off with a signed client agreement.
2. Design Phase + Mood Boards
Timeline: About 3-6 hours
A visual representation for the new design
Layout and flow guides
Suggestions for furniture, layout, and other design elements.
A timeline for sourcing and final styling.
Process:
We’ll start with a hands-on review of the new design for the space. I’ll help you visualize new layouts and make suggestions that enhance both the functionality and aesthetic of your space. Whether it’s optimizing storage, creating new use for a room, or ensuring smooth flow, this consultation is key to setting the foundation for a functional space that reflects how you will use your space.
3. Curate + Style
Timeline: About 2-3 weeks (depending on room size and scope)
Deliverables:
A curated list of furniture, décor, and accessories that will be used in the new space.
Process:
Once I have a sense of your vision and the functional layout, I’ll get to work curating the right pieces for your space. I’ll send over approvals to give you a feel for the overall aesthetic, and once approved, I’ll begin sourcing furniture and décor. After everything is chosen, I’ll stage the space for you, ensuring every detail is perfectly in place, including customizations and personal touches that make the space uniquely yours.
4. Final Styling Session
Timeline: 1-2 weeks (depending on the scope of work)
Deliverables:
Fully styled and functional space ready for use.
Final walk-through to ensure everything is in place and to your satisfaction.
Process:
Once all items are sourced and delivered, I’ll handle the installation and styling of your space. This step includes arranging furniture, hanging artwork, placing décor items, and ensuring everything flows seamlessly. The final result is a beautifully curated, functional space that meets your design goals.
5. On-Going Design Support + Strategy
Timeline: Ongoing (Flexible as needed)
Deliverables:
Regular design check-ins and updates.
On-going curation of new and unique finds
Strategic design advice for future improvements or updates.
Process:
Design doesn’t stop once the space is styled. I offer ongoing support to make sure your space continues to function well as your needs evolve. Whether it’s seasonal changes, additional furniture, or adapting to a new lifestyle need, I’m available to provide long-term design solutions and advice.
Holiday Styling + Decorating
Planning Timeline: 1-2 weeks (depending on complexity and size of space)
In-Home Decorating: I will provide you a quote after we discuss your project.
Deliverables:
Customized holiday or seasonal décor concepts.
Fully styled rooms with seasonal touches.
Process:
For holiday or seasonal styling, I start by discussing any preferences you have (specific colors, themes, or traditions). After finalizing the look, I’ll bring in seasonal décor to elevate your home. Whether it’s for the holidays or a change in season, I’ll ensure everything is beautifully arranged and reflects the warmth and style you want for the season.
Note: It is best to plan a holiday design scheme by September in order to get product in time!
